The current F.A. Cup trophy is the second by design and the fifth by manufacture. The current design was created by the Bradford firm of Fattorini and Sons in 1911, and won for the first time by Bradford City - then only in their eighth year of existence and still their only cup win. This book relates the story of that remarkable triumph told through the press reporting of the period woven together into a cohesive story by the additional commentary of the author. Includes the journey to the final of both finalists and the 'best of the rest' encounters from each round. Plus City's post cup winning Scandinavian tour told in greater detail than ever before.
Every match of the campaign covered (both finalists), including full period match report and additional commentary by the author.
